I recently did a fun collaboration with Yoga Medicine, a fantastic teacher training program designed to give yoga teachers the tools and knowledge to interface with the medical community. As a teacher that works mostly with athletes (and being an athlete myself), I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to have truly functional mobility and strength. Many athletes have a tendency for quad dominance, which can make the hamstrings especially vulnerable to injury.
This is a two-part article, and you can check out Part 1 on eccentric hamstring strength on the Yoga Medicine website by clicking here. Part 2 to follow!
